MyLabVinco is a new Esaote Premium Echo Doppler Ultrasound system designed for the diagnosis of CCSVI (Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency). CCSVI is a medical condition where deoxygenated blood flow from the veins surrounding the brain and spine is slowed or blocked in its return to the heart. Prof. Paolo Zamboni is the Director of the Centre for Vascular Diseases at the University of Ferrara (Ferrara - Italy). In his studies, he came upon a unique situation to MS patients: a reflux of their brain/spinal blood. In this Study 65 clinically defined MS patients and 235 controls (including healthy patients and those with other neurological disorders), blindly underwent a combined transcranial and extracranial Color-Doppler high-resolution examination (TCCS-ECD) aimed at detecting at least two of five parameters of anomalous venous outflow. The Conclusion of Professor Zamboni’s studies is that CCSVI is a scenario that has not previously been described, characterized by abnormal venous hemodynamic determined by extracranial multiple venous strictures of unknown origin. The location of venous obstructions plays a key role in determining the clinical course of the disease.

Following our commitment and initial goal to make the exiting CCSVI treatment accessible for all who might need it, we are glad to announce that our doctors - Dr Cheshedjiev and Dr Bachvarov - just returned from Italy.
There they met personally proff. Zamboni and participated for a 2nd time in a comprehensive training CCSVI course.
The subject of this course was of course CCSVI and its relation to MS, new discoveries, information exchange as well training for the new Echo Doppler equipment. Called MyLabVinco, this 3D Doppler is specially designed for examination of slow blood flow, stenosis and reflux in veins.

The doctors had the unique opportunity to discuss with Proff. Zamboni and colleagues from all over the world the specifications of CCSVI and its proper and reliable diagnostics.

The course took place in three parts. Two of them covered theoretical aspects and doctors discussed a lot of statistics and examination results. The practical part presented detailed analysis of specific cases from own practice and discussion of complicated cases.

Proff Zamboni shared his knowledge how to analyze CCSVI results of patients in an objective way.

Now our team is even more encouraged and exited about the perspectives of the CCSVI method for helping patients.
